Hugo Duarte and Jeff Pike (aka “The Frozen Gringos”) will be returning to the Des Moines area in July… just not together.
As previously announced, on July 7th Club Gerz premier act Hugo Duarte will be returning to treat central Iowa to another evening of his delectable tunes. Hugo is a great storyteller, a first-class songwriter, a talented musician, and a true Southern gentleman. His songs will make you laugh, make you cry, and if you really listen, they’ll make you think about what it means to be alive.
Now his partner in crime, Jeff Pike, will be opening a new house concert venue at Kelly’s and Rick’s home on July 21st. Jeff has been the front man for the official Jimmy Buffett tribute band “A1A” for over 20 years but he has been performing as a solo artist for almost 30 years and has a very extensive song list. He creates music from the heart. Songs of life. Songs to touch your emotions and inspire thought, all while intimately sharing his stories with the listener.

Trop-rock artist Jim Hoehn will be in the Des Moines area next Thursday night, April 12th. Folks may remember Jim from his performance at the Des Moines Parrot Head Club tailgate party at Alpine last year.
