Trop-rock artist Jim Hoehn will be in the Des Moines area next Thursday night, April 12th. Folks may remember Jim from his performance at the Des Moines Parrot Head Club tailgate party at Alpine last year.

We’ve had a wonderful opportunity come up and even though its somewhat short notice, I hope that all of you will join us next Thursday night, April 12th, for a very special evening with trop-rock artist Jim Hoehn. Many of you will remember Jim from our Alpine tailgate party last year, or from one of the many, many shows he performs all over the country. Jim is not only a wonderful musician and writer, he’s amazingly funny, tells a great story and is just a heckuva nice guy from Wisconsin! I hope that you can make time in your schedule to come to this concert next week and share the evening with us.

Thursday, April 12th
Location: DeAnna & Paula’s house at 912 NW 33rd Street, Ankeny, IA — – — We will be outside if the weather is nice, in the basement if it is not.
Park HERE: Prairie Ridge Church south parking lot on the corner of NE 36th and NW Ash Drive. When you are looking south (standing in the parking lot), DeAnna and Paula’s house is the third one from the left and it is brown. You can enter through the back yard.We will start the social hour around 6:00 PM and will continue that through at least 7:00 PM or a little after. Jim will start playing somewhere between 7:00 and 7:30 PM. Please bring a chair, whatever you’d like to drink and then a side dish/appetizer to share for the group. Cost of the event is a $15 suggested donation that will go entirely to the artist. Jim will also have CD’s available for purchase!
