We are pleased to welcome our singer/songwriter friend Sam L Rainwater back to the Des Moines area. He will be playing Sunday August 2nd at The Brewhouse No. 25 in Altoona from 3:00-7:00 PM. Sam performs an eclectic blend of “Mexatropaholic” and Trop Rock Music. A “Rocket Scientist” in his day job, Sam is a Trop Rocker in his soul, writing and playing music in the US and Mexico. The Des Moines Parrot Head Club is sponsoring the event.
Sam will be accepting donations during his show with 200% going to his charities!!! Yes you read that right, 200%. Sam writes and plays all of his music with a purpose, donating 100% of his music income to charity and then doubling those donations through a match from his consulting company, SunTronics Inc.! The donations from his domestic performances are going to various causes that support our troops. To date Sam has donated over $144,000 from his music. The Club will be providing some additional donation opportunities throughout the afternoon.
